Digital Production Agency

Central England

Digital Harbour is thrilled to be supporting an important, independent digital production agency with their new recruitment drive. The business has thrived over the last 20 years by building long-term relationships around the creative use of technology.

Based in Central England, the main development hub is located in beautiful countryside between Birmingham and the Welsh Borders, there is also a creative studio in Barcelona and back-up facilities in London.

Brands, agencies and publicly owned institutions benefit from a platform agnostic approach that brings together new and established technologies to build whatever a customer requires. This can be a chatbot, educational platform, art installation or machine learning research project. We are talking full service digital production where inspiration and pragmatism combine across planning, research, development and testing phases of significant online projects.

The client portfolio includes globally recognised innovators, pioneers of technology utilisation, all underpinned by the technical excellence delivered by this team of experts.

What will we be looking for as the team continues to grow?

A mix of hard and soft skills will be essential to deliver in your area of expertise. Collaboration with colleagues and client contacts requires the right attitude, with emphasis on determination, independence, integrity and confidence. You will be a committed team worker with organisational, planning and problem-solving skills. If this sounds like you we may have a role available that will further your career.

First up is a Project Manager, someone to manage multiple projects through their full lifecycle, from design to delivery. You’ll interpret and translate client briefs, be fully conversant with modern web tech and use management apps like Jira and GitLab. A more detailed brief can be viewed here.

At least two Senior Application Developers are required who can plan, research, develop, test and deploy web projects with minimal assistance. Programming skills will need to include PHP, Python, HTML, Angular and Javascript. Check out the detail here.

Also interested in Front-End Developers with hands-on HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills. An ability to code from scratch is important and any AngularJS experience would be viewed very positively!

Finally, a Production Manager is also sought, someone who identifies with all the information above, can effectively oversee operations and bring ‘forward visibility’ to the team.
